Ned Ashby
Captain
Ned Ashby has been fishing the local waters for almost two decades
and has an understanding of the inlets and the ocean that he travels
daily. Ned started fishing aboard the charter boat "Honey"
as a first mate. He then went on to work as a first mate of the
"Wildfire" with captain Nevin Wescott. After some time
with Wescott, Ned had a chance to captain the Sea Jay IV. He did
this for 3 years from Pirate's Cove Marina.

In 1993 Captain Wescott
sold the "Wildfire" to Ned and he move the business and
boat to Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. In 1999 Captain Ned purchased
the current "Wildfire". With knowledge and professionalism
Ned and his wife Penny, operate their business with the goal making
the charter happy with their decision to fish on the "Wildfire".
There is an open bridge policy on the boat, so come on up and talk
with us during the day. THE VIEW IS AWESOME.
